This Privacy Policy explains how the Sudoku app handles data when you use the application.

Data handled by the app

Sudoku works without a user account and does not request your name, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.

The app may handle:

• Local gameplay data: settings, in-progress games, favorites, statistics, achievements, and Daily Challenge progress. This data stays on your device and can be deleted in Settings.
• Ads data: Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate IP-based location, approximate region, and ad interactions, depending on user consent and settings.
• Analytics data: Firebase Analytics may receive app usage events, such as app opens, game starts, selected difficulty, and completed games. These events do not include personal information directly provided by the user.
• Crash data: Sentry may receive technical error reports, including app version, operating system, device model, stack traces, and technical context needed to investigate crashes.
• Website analytics data: when you visit this website, Cloudflare Web Analytics may process aggregate pageview and traffic information. Microsoft Clarity may be used to understand website usability through heatmaps and session recordings when enabled.

Purposes

We use this data to:

• save local progress and statistics;
• show and measure ads;
• understand aggregate app usage;
• understand website traffic and improve landing page usability;
• diagnose failures and improve stability;
• meet applicable security, privacy, and store operation requirements.

Third parties

The app uses third-party services:

• Google AdMob, for ads and ads consent;
• Firebase Analytics, for product analytics;
• Cloudflare Web Analytics, for website analytics;
• Microsoft Clarity, for website heatmaps and session recordings when enabled;
• Sentry, for crash reporting and technical diagnostics.

Each provider handles data according to its own privacy policies and controls.

Legal basis

Where required, personalized ads and related technologies depend on consent. Technical and operational data may be processed to provide the service, keep the app secure, improve the app, and comply with applicable requirements.

Retention

Local data remains on your device until you reset progress in Settings, uninstall the app, or clear the app data. Data processed by third parties follows the retention periods and controls defined by those providers.

LGPD/GDPR rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about data processing by emailing [email protected]. When a request involves data held by third parties, we may direct you to those providers’ privacy tools.

Children

Sudoku is not directed to children. The store listing should use a 13+ target audience.

Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the app, providers, or legal requirements. The last updated date will change when relevant updates are made.
